DAVID HAVELÍK - violoncello

DAVID HAVELÍK (1972) is a graduate of the Conservatory in Prague (professor Viktor Moučka) and of the musical faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (professor Josef Chuchro). He has won prizes in several international competitions (Concertino Praga, Heran's Cello Competition, Beethoven's Hradec). During his studies he took part in numerous master classes led by famous chamber musicians - including Břetislav Novotný, Norbert Brainin, Hatto Beyerle and Laszlo Mezö. He has performed in many European countries and in Japan and recorded for Czech Radio, Czech Television, WRD, ORF and others. Currently he is a concert master of the Suk Chamber Orchestra.
